Seashells are special to me because I feel calm whenever I see them. Seashells have a unique shape that makes them amazing amplifiers for ambient noises, including air. In fact, the ocean sound in seashells we hear is actually local noises already around you, but altered by the shell. This concept of amplifying the noises around me really touches me and that’s what I wanted to show in this piece.
