Register a YAM Chapter
Why Register a Chapter?
The YAM allows any academic club related to the arts (including and not limited to photography, art, architecture, writing) to register a chapter. Registering a chapter allows benefits including first notice of competitions , vast networking opportunities, and resources.
By registering your chapter, officers and members still have the freedom to perform individual club functions in meetings however they like. The YAM will guide, mentor, and give opportunities to chapters. As a registered chapter, you must uphold YAM mission of empowering youth voices through the arts.
- Connect with artists around the world/networking opportunities
- Get to work with an international 501(c)3 nonprofit organization
- Exposure for your club/artists
- First notice of our competitions and events (not currently a thing but we could implement it?)
- Develop leadership skills and form bonds within your chapter
- Work towards our mission of getting the arts to be taken more seriously and elevating young artists
- Get support from our team/organization
- Looks good on college applications!
- YAM can provide small grants to get your chapter started
