Student Self-Portrait

My self-portrait commentates on education and my experience as a student. The main figure, myself, is chopped and positioned in a rigidly geometric still life composition. The figure is made an object, sculpted into conformity. The apple is reminiscent of education, while the chisel is its sculpting tool.
